Below are the knowledge and experiences after many times writing and editing my CV, cover letter as well as the tips that I have learned from my older siblings, teachers, and coaches from the Career Speed up career coaching course. On this occasion, I would like to thank you and everyone else very much.
You’ve been waiting for a long time, yeah let’s go!
I. Preparing for Mindset:
INTERVIEW IS EQUAL EXCHANGE BETWEEN KNOWLEDGE PROVIDER, SKILLS AND JOB PROVIDER.
Interview story:
What value do I/you bring to the business, the employer, they will offer you the position, mode, job, route → then you have the right to reconsider maybe after the interview or after probation.
(As long as you have been accepted)
II. PREPARATION PART:
1. GET TO KNOW THE COMPANY
Learn about company culture
Find out the company’s recent projects and events, why the company is open to recruit new positions. Maybe they have a new project, or a new branch, a new customer.
Get to know the company’s industry competitors
If possible find out what difficulties or bottlenecks the company is facing at the moment.
2. LEARN ABOUT JOB
Read the job description carefully
What skills does the candidate need to possess?
What is the required Objective of the position?
What style does the candidate have?
3. LEARN ABOUT YOURSELF – UNDERSTAND MYSELF
What is your USP?
The term USP (Unique selling point) is used in marketing.
That is what is the special highlight of a product. And what are your strengths in your job search? And how would that trait fit into the job you’re applying for?
Compare USP and required scores at work?
Required points in JD (Job Description): can be hard skills, soft skills, foreign languages or experience, ..
Why are you the right candidate?
What is the career goal in 1-3 years, or 5 years?
..
After the above 2 steps, it is like sitting down to interview yourself before meeting the employer.
4. PREPARING CV, COVER LETTER, PORTFOLIO
The following factors are not the story of next week’s interview, prepare this week, remember to prepare as soon as possible.
CV
The story when looking for material is written here:
[The story lies in the CV]-Unemployment Healing Association.
Not that last week, I went to interview a certain company, this company I really liked and waited for more than half a year to open a job for the position I like. Because I was too eager to join the company but I didn’t have much experience, so in an impulsive minute I faked some information about my experience in my CV and I passed the first round.
However, when I went to the interview, after interviewing with an HR lady, I was interviewed with a head of the department I applied for. However, even though she had carefully prepared answers around her unreal experiences, she still stuck her tail and failed immediately. She has a long email to me (I can’t post it here) but in general she told me lying is very taboo in CV.
Today, I came up here to ask everyone if I can tell some lies in my CV so as not to be caught by the employer?
” Collect”
HR brothers and sisters have quite a lot of recruitment experience, even if they are less experienced, they have been trained a lot by their boss. This is taboo, people.
Don’t use your CV too widely
Taboo: using cv too widely (recruitment sites like those or posting samples)
The trend of personalization, highlighting and special has been very popular, so if you use the same template as 100 other candidates, it will be difficult for employers to read your cv.
One day HR will need to filter a lot of CVs before deciding to invite for an interview. So don’t let yourself be like 100 other people. Chances are only 1-3 suitable candidates.
How many pages is enough CV?
Not much experience: 1 page
Has quite a bit of experience: 2 pages
Color in CV: Up to 3 colors
Job Description:

All of the above factors to be unique and make a good impression on employers require you to experience, touch, real skills, practice and give yourself many opportunities to experience real life. more economical!
III. INTERVIEWING SECTION
SKIN
Elegant, polite, always over daily style (more formal and more beautiful than usual).
COMMUNICATION STYLE IN FEMALE INTERVIEWS
Interview style should be respectful to the employer, but you need to let your own personality in. How you communicate during an interview determines a lot to the impression on the employer.
Notebook and Pen (write down important information)
Make an impression, take notes of important information, string things the employer only shares in the interview, combine with the preparation in part 1 to be able to improvise the interviewer’s questions.
MAIL, LETTER OF THANK YOU TO THE COMPANY
Send an email or thank you letter to the company you interviewed for a little while
24 – 48 hours after the interview (don’t send it too soon), even if you see the prospect of being accepted or not. The world of human resources is not small, but there is always a connection and connection between HR leaders, so making a good impression on them about your professionalism will give you a much more advantage.
Email content: feedback to the employer, thanking them for the interview, feeling very excited about the job and looking forward to replying about the results.
If you are not accepted, still email the recruiter, if they have a partner company or find another position more suitable for you, they will recommend it to you because they feel your attitude is good enough.
REMEMBER: Attitude > Qualifications
TIME
– Pay attention to go early about 15-20 minutes before the interview time.
-Young blind road: You can check the interview location first, go early to avoid getting lost, but don’t go to the company but will sit at a restaurant near the company.
ASK QUESTIONS
HR: “When employers ask questions, they don’t care much about what you say, they care about how you answer the question.”
When you don’t ask questions: HR trends will suspect you’re not really passionate about the company, only those who don’t know have nothing to ask. So remember to prepare your questions in advance.
